Litter accumulation is a major problem in the Royal – from ad hoc dumping of residential and trade waste to litter thrown from vehicles, picnic litter and ocean born litter on any of the Royal’s beautiful ocean and estuarine beaches.
Friends members participate in litter collection activities throughout the year.

If the location is marked TBA the specific location for the activity will be confirmed on this site at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
All these activities run from 9am to midday and will conclude with an opportunity to relax and chat to your fellow volunteers. in a Covid safe outdoor environment.
